Holiday Traditions

Ramadan is my favorite time of the year. It is just like Christmas but it is just for Muslims. You get presents and all the same thing as Christmas but no tree. We just wake up one sunny morning to se presents on the table. Ramadan takes place for 31 days in August. The only way you get more and more presents is if you fast from four in the morning to sundown. Ramadan is my favorite time of the whole entire year.

Patriot's Pen essay

In my opinion, serving your country means that you as a person are willing to put your life on the line in order to defend our freedom.  It means that you are obstinate in the fact that freedom does not come free.  We can sleep in peace knowing that you are out there on the front lines keeping us safe, because to serve and protect is the code that you live by.  Those who serve our country fight to protect our democracy and our independent Nation.  
War. A three letter that is, sadly, one of the most determining factors of the history of all of the nations worldwide. This is the word that devoured so many young souls and shed the blood of the nations, not just in world wars, but in the civil wars of each nation as well. It might be thought that since there has been no major war affecting the well-being of this nation since I have been alive, that I would be ignorant to the emotions and appreciation to those who risked their lives so that I might take my first breath. This is a false generalization, though. Every breath that I breathe, I thank God for allowing me to be born an American. I thank him for helping America and the allies to win the war against Germany and the Japanese. Everyday, ideas and thoughts flood my head of how different life would be for me if I lived in a country ruled by a communistic government.

Halloween

I cant wait till Halloween. I'm not sure what I’m going to be for Halloween and I love to go trick or treating with my friends. Last year, I was a hot dog. I went trick or treating with my friends around the mall and around where I live. I also love Halloween because of the amount of candy I usually bring in. Of course I can't eat some of it because it might have gelatin. Otherwise, I don't like that kind of candy and I give it to my sister. I am usually bringing in about 3 bags full of candy. That is enough for me! My friends and I are going trick or treating for a while. We hit about 85 houses in an hour.

Hi my name is ahmed and i am a middle school student. My interests and hobbies is to play basketball and watch basketball. Me and my friends like to play sports together all the time. I hope to accomplish making the basketball team in middle school. My future goals are to make it into Syracuse University and become a professional basketball player.
